How to set up the Bark Watch

The Bark Watch sets up by connecting to Wi-Fi and scanning a QR code from your parent phone.

Congrats on your kid's new Bark Watch! Here's how to get it set up.

  1. Long-press the power button on the top right of the Bark Watch to turn it on.

  2. Wait a couple of minutes.

  3. When prompted, connect to Wi-Fi.

    👀 Don't see the Wi-Fi prompt or it disappeared too quickly? Press the top side button, swipe from left to right, and then tap on the Bark app.

  4. After a little while, a setup QR code will appear.

    👀 Don't see the activation QR code or it disappeared too quickly? Press the top side button, swipe from left to right, and then tap on the Bark app.

  5. From your parent phone, scan the QR code.

  6. You'll be asked to log in or create an account.

    • If you ordered the watch from Bark's site, log into your Bark account.

    • If you already have an existing Bark subscription, log into your Bark account.

    • If you ordered it from a different site (like Amazon) and do not already have an existing Bark subscription, create a Bark account.

  7. Follow the prompts on your phone to finish setup. Here's how to verify you're all set up.
