We’ve partnered with AKKO, the leading tech device protection company, to provide peace of mind to your family in case your child’s Bark device gets lost, stolen, or damaged.


How to add device protection

When placing a new order on bark.us, you’ll have the option to add a device protection plan through AKKO during checkout.

Missed it during the order process? You can still add device protection later by visiting your account settings after you’ve set up your Bark Phone or Bark Watch.

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.

  2. Tap Account.

  3. Under Manage device, tap Device Protection.


Plan pricing

  • $3/month for the Bark Watch

  • $5/month for the Bark Phone and $7/month for the Bark Phone Pro


Coverage includes

  • Protection against accidental damage, like cracked screens, parts and battery failures, liquid or physical damage

  • Loss and theft

  • $29 replacement deductible for the Bark Watch

  • $29 repair and $49 replacement deductible for the Bark Phone and Bark Phone Pro


How to file a claim

  1. Click here to start a claim.

  2. Enter the phone number of your child's Bark Phone or Watch (the one covered by the protection plan).

  3. Look for an email from AKKO with your password.

  4. Log into AKKO with that info to continue filing your claim.
    Note: You can submit two claims per year for a single device.
