How to pause the internet for a child
Need to stop all internet access on a kid's devices but still allow them access to phone calls and text messages in the event of an emergency? Bark created the Pause feature for use in those times!
New UI
- From your dashboard, tap the profile you'd like to manage.
- Make sure Devices at the top have a healthy status.
- Tap⏸ Pause near the top.
- Choose how long you want the pause to last or turn it on indefinitely.
- Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
- Now, internet access for all apps and websites will be paused on your kid's devices, while still allowing cellular text messages (SMS) and phone calls for emergencies.
Note: The Bark Phone and Watch pause feature will also block text messages.

How to resume the internet for a child
To undo the pause...

- Tap ▶ Resume.
- Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect. Your kid can also restart their device to speed that along.
- Now, the internet is back! Remember to double-check the apps and sites you've blocked for your kid in case you need to make any new adjustments.
