Need to stop all internet access on your child's devices while still allowing calls and texts for emergencies? Here's how:
Pause the internet for a child profile
Open up your parent app / dashboard.
Under your child's name, tap ⏸ Pause.
Choose how long to pause, or leave it on indefinitely.
Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
That's it! Internet access will be paused on all your child's apps and websites, while still allowing cellular texts (SMS) and calls.
Note: The Bark Phone and Watch pause feature will also block text messages.
Resume the internet for a child profile
Open up your parent app / dashboard.
Under your child's profile, tap ▶ Un-pause.
Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect. Your kid can also restart their device to speed that along.
Once resumed, double-check the apps and sites you've blocked in case you need to make any adjustments.
Pause the internet for a Bark Home profile
From your dashboard, tap the profile you'd like to manage.
Make sure Devices at the top have a healthy status.
Tap ⏸ Pause near the top.
Choose how long you want the pause to last or turn it on indefinitely.
Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
That's it! Internet access will be paused on all your child's apps and websites, while still allowing cellular texts (SMS) and calls.

Resume the internet for a Bark Home profile
From your dashboard, tap the profile you'd like to manage.
Tap ▶ Resume.
Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect. You can also restart the device(s) under that profile to speed that along.
Once resumed, double-check the apps and sites you've blocked in case you need to make any adjustments.
Pause the internet for all Bark Home profiles
Open up your parent app / dashboard.
Tap Bark Home.
Tap the pause button in the top right corner:

Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
This pauses the internet for all profiles on your account, as well as all devices connected to your home Wi-Fi. Only ignored devices will continue to have unfiltered internet access.
