Bark is able to monitor emails sent and received (including attachments) on connected email accounts like Yahoo.
- Method A: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (most secure)
- Method B: Allow Apps With Less Secure Sign-In (fastest, easiest)
Method A: Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
STEP 1: Log in to your child's Yahoo email account.

STEP 2: Hover over your child's name on the top right, and in the menu that appears, select Settings.

STEP 3: Select Account Security on the left-hand column.

STEP 4: Ensure Two-Step Verification is enabled.

STEP 5: Select Generate app password at the bottom of the page:

STEP 5: On the screen that pops up, select Other App.

STEP 6: Input Bark as the name of that app:

STEP 7: Copy the password on the next pop up.

STEP 8: Paste the password within the password field for connecting to a Yahoo account:

That's it!
You'll see the message below, indicating it has been successfully connected for monitoring.

You will also see it on your child's profile, along with all of your child's other connected accounts:

Method B: Allow Apps With Less Secure Sign-In
STEP 1: Log in to your child's Yahoo email account.

STEP 2: Hover over your child's name on the top right, and in the menu that appears, select Settings.

STEP 3: Select Account Security on the left-hand column.

STEP 4: Enable Allow apps that use less secure sign-in, as seen below:

STEP 5: Retry connecting your child's Yahoo email account to Bark!

That's it!
You'll see the message below, indicating it has been successfully connected for monitoring.

You will also see it on your child's profile, along with all of your child's other connected accounts:
