Use accessibility features on the Bark Watch (Samsung model)

Turn on tools like a screen reader, spoken notifications, and hands-free gestures.

The Bark Watch (Samsung model) has accessibility features that make the watch easier to use for kids with different needs. Most of them live in the Settings app.

Open the accessibility settings

  1. From the watch face, swipe up to open the Apps screen.

  2. Tap ⚙️ Settings.

  3. Tap Accessibility.

What you can turn on

  • TalkBack: gives spoken feedback, reading aloud what is on the screen as your child moves through it. To learn how to use it, open TalkBack, then tap Settings, then Tutorial or Help.

  • Vision enhancements: options for low vision, like larger text and color adjustments.

  • Hearing enhancements: options for kids who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Interaction and dexterity: options for kids with limited hand movement.

  • Advanced settings: set a button shortcut, like pressing the Home button twice to turn TalkBack on or off.

Have notifications read aloud

The watch can read new notifications aloud, which works well with TalkBack. Turn it on in Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings, then turn on Read notifications aloud.

Change how the spoken voice sounds

TalkBack and read-aloud both use text-to-speech. To change the language, speed, or voice, open Settings > General > Text-to-speech.
