If you have a Bark Home or router with Bark built-in on your home Wi-Fi, here's how to get your devices filtered:
Log in to your parent app / dashboard.
Tap Bark Home.
Don't see Bark Home on your dashboard? You'll need to activate the Bark Home first, then come back to this guide.
Under Unmanaged, identify and rename each device.
Assign networking devices (like mesh units, extenders, and switches) and smart home devices (like smart thermostats and security cameras) to Ignored.
Assign Smart TVs and other shared devices to Shared.
Assign all phones, tablets, computers, and gaming consoles to your children's profile(s).
Need to create a new profile? Here's how.
Block apps and sites for each profile.
Once in-home filtering is set up, the Bark Home or Bark router will:
Detect any device connected to your home network (plus send you a push notification to your parent app for quick and easy management)
Assign any new devices to your Unmanaged devices list automatically
Block sexual content on devices in the Unmanaged list by default
Got a new router?
Unplug the Bark Home from your old router and plug it into the new one. If you run into issues, check whether your new router is compatible with the Bark Home.
Set up mobile screen time controls
Want to block apps and sites on your child's device when they leave the house? Here's how.
