On your kid's OnePlus, open the ⚙ Settings app.
Tap Battery.
Tap Battery optimization
Tap the v dropdown menu.
Select All apps.
Tap Bark.
Tap Don't Optimize.
Then, < go back until you reach the Battery settings again.
Tap the three dots on the top right.
Tap Advanced optimization.
Disable Deep optimization (or "Adaptive battery").
Disable Sleep Standby Optimization.
Next, let's search whether this phone has the App Auto-Launch feature in the Settings app. If it does, disable it.
Note: Software updates for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 6 can sometimes reset these settings, so check them periodically.

Tap Recent app management.
Tap Normal clear.
