Will my child know that Bark is installed?

Because the child app will need to be installed on your child's device for screen time and filtering, they will be able to see the app is in their installed apps list. 

We highly encourage you to discuss your usage of Bark with your child. Talking to your child about digital safety when alerts arise provides a good opportunity to have hard conversations about serious topics.

Kids are generally receptive to Bark once they learn that we protect them online while also giving them more privacy. Parents / guardians don’t get access to every single message they send — only to digital activities that indicate that they might be in danger.
