How to find alerts using filters

Filter alerts by child, platform, severity, read status, and more to find what you're looking for faster.

You can use the sorting filters at the top of your Alerts page to sort alerts by different categories — including by child, platform, read status, and more.

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.

  2. Tap the 🔔 bell icon on the top right to view your family's alerts.

  3. Use the filters at the top to sort by child, device, date, and more.

Unread vs. read

The most useful filters are Unread and Read, which show whether you've reviewed an alert or not. When someone views an alert, it's marked as read and moves to the Read view.

If a co-parent is also receiving alerts, they may review an issue before you do. Check the Read view from time to time so you don't miss anything.

By concern / type

Sort alerts by type of issue, like violence, bullying, or sexual content.

By source or app / account / device

Sort by the platform where the issue was found, like Android or X/Twitter.

By severity

Sort by how serious an alert is — severe or not severe.

Saved

Think of this like a "bookmark" function. If you clicked Bookmark Save for later on an alert, this is where you'll find it.
