It is normal for the watch to feel warm while exposed to direct sunlight, left in a hot car, charging, or during heavy use. If it gets too hot, it may turn off to cool down, though what you see depends on the model your child wears.

If the Samsung model gets too hot, it shows a temperature warning and turns off features until it cools down. Your child can still make emergency calls while it's in this state. If it keeps getting hotter, it powers off on its own.
To cool it down:
Take the watch off the charger and off your child's wrist. Make sure to only use approved charging accessories.

If the Schok model gets too hot, a red hand symbol appears and the watch shuts down to protect itself.
