Tips for sensitivity adjustments
Start with the "All" settings, then increase to "Severe" if you get too many minor alerts.
A super admin can update alert settings anytime. You're not limited to your initial setup.
Some alert types only offer "All" or "None" options due to their nature.
For example, a Weapon is either present or not. Similarly, Profanity is either used or not.
If you find alerts for profanity or weapons too mild, you can disable them and still receive alerts for ❗️ severe issues, like threats of immediate harm, even if they include weapons or profanity.
Collaborate with your reviewer team to set alert preferences, as they know which information is most useful for them.
How to adjust alert sensitivity
Log in as the Bark for Schools super admin for your account.
Access your school's Monitoring Settings via the menu on the top right.
Select Edit.
On this page, you can adjust the dropdown menu next to each alert type. These changes will apply to monitoring going forward.
