Here's how to turn off Secure DNS on the Silk browser:
On your kid's Amazon Fire, open the
Internet app (Silk browser).
Tap the ā® three dots on the top right.
Tap Settings.
Tap Privacy and security.
Tap Use secure DNS
Turn off Secure DNS.
