Enable Accessibility for Bark on Amazon Fire

The Bark Kids app requires Accessibility to be enabled on Amazon Fire to monitor your child's device properly.

It's an easy fix in the Bark Kids app on Amazon Fire.

Easy method

  1. On your kid's Amazon Fire tablet, open the Bark Kids icon Bark Kids app.

  2. You'll be prompted to enable Accessibility. Selecting that prompt will open Accessibility settings.

  3. Under Services, tap Bark and turn it on.

  4. Open the Bark Kids icon Bark Kids app again.

  5. Tap ⚙️ Settings:

  6. Tap Test Monitoring. You should be all set!

Alternative method

  1. On your kid's Amazon Fire tablet, open their ⚙ Settings.

  2. Tap Accessibility.

  3. Under Services, tap Bark and turn it on.

  4. Now, tap ⏺ to open the Home Screen.

  5. Tap the Bark Kids icon Bark Kids app.

  6. Tap ⚙️ Settings:

  7. Tap Test Monitoring. You should be all set!

How to check it's working

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.

  2. Tap your child's profile.

  3. Tap Devices.

  4. Look for a green checkmark:
