On the old Bark Phone
On the old Bark Phone, swipe up to open apps.
Tap the
Bark Messages app.
Tap the ⋮ three dots in the top right.
Tap Export messages.
Name the file something easy to remember and Save.
Next, tap the ⏹ home button to go to the home screen.
Swipe up to open their apps.
Tap
My Files app.
Tap Downloads.
Tap and hold over the text message backup file.
Tap Share.
Choose how you'd like to transfer the file to the new phone, such as emailing it, saving it to Google Drive, or copying it to an SD card.
On the new Bark Phone
If your child previously used an SD card, remember to remove the SD card from the old phone and insert it into the new phone.
Set up your kid’s new Bark Phone for the first time.
Find the text message backup file on the new phone (in email, Google Drive, SD card, or wherever you saved it).
Download the backup file to the phone.
Tap the ⏹ home button to go to the home screen.
Swipe up to open apps.
Tap the
Bark Messages app.
Tap the ⋮ three dots in the top right.
Tap Import messages.
Find the backup file and select it.
That’s it! The app will import your kid’s text conversations.
