Allow or Block Safari
If your kid doesn’t have the Safari app, you may have blocked it through Apple’s Screen Time.
Open
Settings and tap on Screen Time.
Turn it on (if you don't already have Screen Time set up).
Create a Screen Time passcode that only you know so you can lock your changes.
Next, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions at the top to enable them.
Tap Allowed Apps.
Toggle on Safari.
If you ever need to block it again, follow the same steps.
Install the Bark Kids app to take your screen time controls a step further.
Disable Safari's Incognito Mode
If you’re OK with your child still using Safari, we recommend disabling:
Incognito mode
Safari extension changes
Adult website browsing.
Here's how to do it:
Open
Settings and tap on Screen Time.
Turn it on (if you don't already have Screen Time set up).
Create a Screen Time passcode that only you know so you can lock your changes.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions at the top to enable them.
Now, tap Content Restrictions or Store, Web, Siri & Game Center Content.
Tap Web Content.
Tap Limit Adult Websites.
Consider using Apple's App Approval feature to prevent your child from installing other browsers. You can also install the Bark Kids app to take your screen time controls a step further.
