How to enable silent mode for a Bark Phone

With Bark Phone, you can create routines that automatically apply specific settings during set times (like School or Bedtime). One of these settings, Silent Mode, allows you to mute your child’s ringer for calls and texts during designated routines.

To add Silent Mode to a routine:

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.
  2. Tap your kid's avatar at the top.
  3. Tap Screen Time.
  4. Scroll down and tap Review other rulesets.
  5. Tap the ruleset in question (e.g. School, Bedtime).
  6. Tap Device settings.
  7. Scroll down to Silent mode. Toggle it to Yes to enable, or No to keep it off.

  8. That's it! Every time this routine kicks in, your child's phone ringer will be muted. However, they can manually adjust the ringer volume on their device if they need to. This flexibility is designed to help both you and your child—allowing them to adjust if they’re up early or done with an activity sooner than expected.
