All Bark Phones on the Advanced Plans come with voicemail, as well as unlimited talk and text. Bark Phones on the Starter Plan have no app store, games, nor voicemail.
How to manage voicemail through the Bark parent app
- Open up your Bark parent app / dashboard.
- Tap your kid's avatar at the top.
- Tap Bark Phone.
- Tap Settings.
- Toggle on or off Enable Voicemail.
How to open voicemail through the contacts app
- Open the Contacts app on the Bark Phone.
- Tap Voicemail.
How to open voicemail through the phone app
- Open the Phone app on the Bark Phone.
- Tap Keypad.
- Tap the three dots on the top right.
- Tap Voicemail.
How to change voicemail language to English
- Open the Contacts app on the Bark Phone.
- Tap Voicemail.
- When the voicemail begins listing options, press ✳ (star).
- When it lists more options, choose 4️⃣.
- On this next list of options, let's select 7️⃣.
- This should change the language to English.
How to reset the voicemail password
- Open the Phone app on the Bark Phone.
- Tap Keypad.
- To reset your password, dial #793#. You will receive an automated text from "129" with your new voicemail PIN.
- To disable the password altogether, dial #796#.
How to add or remove the voicemail timestamp
By default, each voicemail will tell you the date and time of delivery, as well as the message itself. If you've ever changed the setting for voicemail date and time, and forgotten how to get back to it, turn it back on with these steps:
- Access voicemail on the Bark Phone.
- If there are unreviewed voicemails, listen to them all.
- Then, listen to the options and press the number designated for Voicemail Box Options.
- Listen to the following options again, and this time press the button for Playback Options.
- Follow the instructions to turn Voicemail Headers on (if you want the timestamps) or off (if you want to remove the timestamps).
