How to pause the Bark Phone

How to Pause

Pause is our remote lock feature. Here's how to use it!

1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.
2. Tap on your kid's avatar at the top.
3. Tap the small circle over their avatar.
   
4. Choose how long you'd like to pause the phone or turn it on indefinitely.
   
5. Wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect.

When the Bark Phone is paused...

• All apps get grayed out.
• The phone app remains available for emergencies.
• Non-essential internet use is blocked.
• Their avatar in Bark shows a pause icon.
• If contact approval is enabled, only emergency contacts can be called.

How to Undo

To un-pause the phone,

1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.
2. Tap on your kid's avatar at the top.
3. Tap the small circle over their avatar again. 
4. Wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
