If you see an error message or alert about the Bark Sync no longer having the correct lock screen passcode saved for your child's iOS device, it's an easy fix from either the parent app or the kids app.

From the parent app

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.

  2. Tap your child's profile.

  3. Tap Devices at the top.

  4. Tap your child's iOS device.

  5. Under the Passcode Required error, tap Fix.

  6. Enter the correct lock screen passcode.

  7. That's it! Going forward, the Bark Sync will remember the correct lock screen passcode and be able to automatically monitor your child's iOS device when it's charging.

From the kids app

  1. Make sure the Bark Sync is powered on and has a solid blue LED light.

  2. Plug your child's iOS device into the Bark Sync with the provided cable.

  3. On your child's device, open the bark kids app - white dog - multicolor background.png Bark Kids app.

  4. Tap the Settings tab.

  5. Tap Update passcode to add the correct lock screen passcode.

  6. That's it! Going forward, the Bark Sync will remember the correct lock screen passcode and be able to automatically monitor your child's iOS device when it's charging.
