If the Bark Watch will not install an update, work through the steps for the watch model your child wears.

Connect to Wi-Fi. Swipe up to open the Apps screen, tap āļø Settings, tap Connections, then tap Wi-Fi and connect.
āCharge the watch. Updates need enough battery, so put it on the charger or make sure it is well charged first.
āInstall the update. Open āļø Settings, tap Software update, then tap Download and install. If an update is available, let it finish without taking the watch off Wi-Fi.
āWhile the software update is being applied, the watch will reboot and show a progress bar or rotating animation.

On your child's watch, open Settings > Wi-Fi.
Make sure it's connected to Wi-Fi.
Then, go to Settings > Updates.
Try to update the firmware again.
