Block or Allow Texting
To manage your child's current texting settings, follow these steps:
On your Bark parent app / dashboard, tap your child's name.
Scroll down to Settings.
Allow or block Texting.
A blocked text app results in...
The
Messages app becoming greyed out and inaccessible.
No notifications for new text messages.
How to send texts
If they haven't yet started a text conversation with that person:
Short-press the top side button on the watch to open the home screen.
Swipe from left to right ➡ to open the apps list.
Scroll down and tap Contacts.
Tap the contact you'd like to text.
Tap
message on the bottom.
Compose the text and send it!
If they have already started a text conversation with that person:
Short-press the top side button on the watch to open the home screen.
Swipe from left to right ➡ to open the apps list.
Scroll down and tap Messages.
Tap the conversation.
Compose the text and send it!
How to delete texts
By default, texts they send or receive cannot be deleted on the Messages app on a Bark Watch.
