Here's what to do if the Bark Desktop App won't open on your Mac. Select the issue that matches what you're seeing:

Click Move to Trash in the error.
Open
Finder.Look for Bark in the left column. If present, click ⏏ Eject.

If you're experiencing one of these:
The app doesn't open, or opens briefly and immediately disappears.
Error: "Bark can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software."
Follow these steps:
Click the
Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen.Select System Preferences (or System Settings).
Click Security & Privacy (or Privacy & Security).
Under "Allow applications from," select Open Anyway or Anywhere if present. Otherwise, select App Store and Known Developers.
Options grayed out? Click the 🔒 lock on the bottom to allow changes to these settings. You'll be asked to enter your Mac password.
Go to
Finder > Applications.Double click on
Bark. It should open now!
