How do I know when setup is complete?
You can tell the Bark Phone is activated if:
You see your child's assigned number when you open the
Bark Guard Dog app.
You see your child's name when you open the
Bark Kids app.
You see Find Phone shortcut under your child's name in your parent app or dashboard.
"Sorry, we can't activate the device"
Follow this guide to fix this error and finish setup.
Setup is taking a long time
First-time setup can take a few minutes. To speed things up:
Make sure the Bark Phone is connected to Wi-Fi.
Make sure Mobile Data stays enabled on the Bark Phone.
Double-check that you're logged into Bark on your parent phone with the email used to order the Bark Phone.
Phone is assigned to the wrong child
If you ordered multiple Bark Phones and they're linked to the wrong child, you can select the correct child during setup.
If you've already completed setup and chose the wrong child, contact us with the IMEI and the name of the child you'd like each phone assigned to.
