Airplane Mode is disabled by default on Bark Phones. This is to ensure that the settings you set as a parent get deployed to the phone as quickly and reliably as possible.
In some regions, such as the European Union, Airplane Mode is not mandatory on flights. Therefore, your child can continue using their device while in the air.
In other regions, you can allow your kid to turn on Airplane Mode within your parent dashboard:
- Open up your parent app / dashboard.
- Tap the Bark Phone tile under your kid.
- Tap Settings.
- Set Allow airplane mode to Yes.
- Then, your kid can enable Airplane Mode on their Bark Phone by sliding their finger down from the top of their screen twice and tapping on Airplane Mode.
- Once the flight lands, remember to disable Airplane Mode again within your parent app / dashboard.
