Before your rules can take effect on the applicable device, make sure that you've set up on-the-go web filtering or in-home web filtering.

STEP 1: While logged in to your dashboard, find your child's profile. Take note of the current rules being applied as indicated by the text and icon near their avatar. For example, School Rules are currently in effect for Charlie's profile in the example below.

STEP 2: Select the ... menu 💬 under the child's profile and tap or click on Add screen time rule.

STEP 3a: If it's a common app or website, click on Filters at the top.

Then, scroll down the list looking for a potential toggle:

NOTE: It may take a few minutes for changes to take effect. For faster results, you can restart the child's device.

STEP 3b: Otherwise, select Exceptions at the top.

Then, scroll down to Blocked Exceptions, type in the website (e.g. website.com), and click Block.

NOTE: It may take a few minutes for changes to take effect. For faster results, you can restart the child's device.
