If you have a particular device that you would not like filtered, make sure you ignore it.
Examples of devices that families often ignore are: routers, extenders, printers, smart thermostats, and parent/guardian devices.
You can prevent a device from being filtered by Bark by following the steps below.
Ignoring Devices
STEP 1: Log in and select Bark Home at the top. It will take you right down to the Bark Home section.
STEP 2: Click on Unmanaged.
STEP 3: Look for the device you want to ignore under Unmanaged. If you need help identifying devices, click here.
STEP 4: Select the Ignore button by the device.
Not seeing the device under "Unmanaged"?
- You may have already assigned the device to a profile. Click on each profile and look for the device under one of the profiles.
- If you find the device under one of the other profiles, click on it. Then, scroll down and select Belongs to > Ignored > Save.

- If you don't see an option to change who the device belongs to, it means the device is potentially merged. Try splitting the device up, and then trying these steps again.
- If you've ignored the device and the device shows up again in your Unmanaged list, it may be due to these reasons.
