If you're seeing "Action not allowed | Contact your parent for access" on your child's Bark Phone, it could mean one of the following:
- You have blocked that particular app or feature in your Bark parent app.
- Bark has automatically blocked the app or feature to prevent circumvention of parental controls (this is less common).
To resolve this issue, review your Bark Phone rules in your parent app. After making any changes, please wait a few minutes for them to take effect. If the message persists, try restarting your child’s device to apply the changes more quickly.
