Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

Does the software version listed there say it is a “beta” version? At this time, Bark is not compatible with beta versions of iOS. Here is information on removing Beta software versions from your child’s iOS device, if applicable: Remove Beta software from iPhone or iPad

Update Windows

NOTE: Windows may say that you're "All set", yet if you manually check for updates there are indeed some available. Even after they install, if you go back and manually check, there may be more available. Restart your PC after the updates.

Update iTunes

NOTE: iTunes is not available for users on the newest versions of Mac. Updating the MacOS to the latest version is the best way to update Apple software.

Why iTunes? iTunes was created to make it easier for iPhone and iPad users to manage their devices on their computer. iTunes contains the necessary components your computer needs to communicate with the iOS device, so updating it sometimes helps the Bark Desktop App better monitor your child's iPhone or iPad.
