Error: iOS Device Not Paired or Trusted

iOS devices are known for their security. Periodically, an iOS device may revoke its trust of Bark due to an update, a reset, or simply the length of time since it last connected to Bark.

If this happens, we'll let you know that the device needs to be paired with Bark again.

How to pair your kid's iPhone or iPad to Bark again

  1. Plug your child's iOS device into your home computer (or Bark Home) with a lightning cable (preferably one from Apple).
  2. Unlock your child's iOS device and look for a Trust This Computer prompt.
  3. Tap Trust. If there is no prompt to tap Trust, you may have granted it already.
  4. Refresh your Bark dashboard to see if the error has resolved.
  5. Bark will automatically analyze your child's device again, but you can also manually start an analysis, if needed.
