Calibrate Location on the Bark Phone

If location tracking, location alerts, or check-ins are showing your child's location as farther away than they actually are, let's check their location settings. Many of these location settings are enabled by default on a Bark Phone, but they may need some fine-tuning.

  1. Open up your parent app / dashboard.
  2. Tap on the Bark Phone tile.
  3. Tap Settings and enable it — this will allow the settings app to be used on your child’s Bark Phone for these steps.
  4. Now grab your kid's Bark Phone.
  5. Open their Settings app.
  6. Tap Location.
  7. Tap Location Services.
  8. Turn on Emergency Location Service, Google Location Accuracy, Wi-Fi scanning, and Bluetooth scanning.
